Bradley GT II -- Alternative Energy Research Vehicle Totally Electric Street Legal Vehicle

The US consumes 21 million barrels of oil daily. We, as a nation, use approximately 500,000,000 gallons of gasoline to power our 250,000,000 automobiles daily(1).  The automobile industry is currently entering into a renaissance of new technology.  Spurred by ever increasing gasoline prices as well as congressional pressure to reduce emissions, a new generation of “green cars” is making their way into automobile design rooms.  One example is General Motors’ ‘Volt’ which is classified as an Extended Range Electric Vehicle (E-REV).   This car will have a range of 40-50 miles on an electric charge with an additional 400 miles from GM’s E Flex System.  This car is currently entering the production phase, and is scheduled to arrive in Chevrolet show rooms as soon as December 2010(2).

Production of totally green renewable energy is needed to supply the new generation of electric vehicles so as not to increase demand on the electric grid.  250,000,000 automobiles simultaneously tapping into the grid supply would ultimately crash the infrastructure.  Our mission is to develop a self contained wind and solar generator station that will power these vehicles.

Initially, we have had great success by demonstrating our system’s ability to power a golf cart through 18 holes of golf.  With versatility in the wind and solar systems, we will be able to reconfigure the station to meet the daily demands of almost any application, including an electric vehicle.

Because this station is designed to replace expensive gasoline instead of fairly inexpensive on-grid electricity, the payback for the system is greatly reduced.  We estimate the return on investment to be 3 to 10 years, depending upon application, without the aid of any state or federal funding.  That compares to a payback of 10 to 30 years on a “whole house” system designed to replace existing electricity.

Each station can be retrofitted to meet your specific needs.  Please contact us if you are interested in any of our generator stations.
